JR’s founder, K.J., is a seasoned ceramic artist who spent years immersed in the rich heritage of Jingdezhen. With a deep understanding of ceramic art, K.J. later traveled abroad for further study, where the collision of Eastern and Western cultures sparked a new vision — to integrate traditional Chinese ceramic techniques with Western dining aesthetics.

During high-temperature firing at around 1300°C, natural crystals form spontaneously within the glaze, each developing unique shapes and patterns depending on the thickness, placement, and chemistry involved.
