Edo Kiriko Hand-cut Kagome Teal Blue Crystal Whiskey Glass

The Kagome Teal Blue reveals a quiet clarity, reminiscent of still lake water under soft light.

Formed from gradient crystal, the rim remains pure and transparent while the color deepens gradually through the body, settling into a warm amber tone at the base. As light passes through the glass, reflections move fluidly across the surface, creating a calm, dimensional glow rather than sharp brilliance. With every turn, shadows and highlights shift gently, bringing a sense of depth and quiet motion.

Each piece is individually hand-cut using traditional Edo Kiriko techniques.

There are no molds or automated carving processes. Every line is guided by the artisan’s eye, carved on a diamond wheel, then carefully refined and polished by hand. This deliberate process produces sharper facets, deeper textures, and a level of clarity that machine-made glass cannot replicate.

For this design, the body is covered with the traditional Kagome lattice pattern, while octagonal facets and radiating base cuts are arranged to maximize light refraction and structural balance.
